Antalya, the ancient Pamphylia, is the largest coastal
city on the Turkish Riviera. Situated on plains on the southern
mediterranean coast Antalya is embraced by the dramatic Taurus Mountain
range.
This spectacular landscape has created a sretch of some
of the most fantastic coastline in Turkey. In particular areas, where
the forested mountains descend to the sea, lies a string of truly
breathtaking valleys, bays and coves providing a great route for the
blue cruise and a true paradise getaway.
Antalya is the base for visits to the national parks of
Olympos, Termessos and Koprulu Canyon as well as waterfalls and caves
such as at Saklikent, and Altinbesik Dudeni's subterranean lake.
The city itself has something for everyone with an urban
feel to its restaurant and nightlife, there is a long palm, lined
promenade and laid back beachlife too.
Antalya's museum is one of the largest in turkey with 14
exhibition halls and an open air gallery and home to some of the most
valuable archeological finds in the region
